Every year, SFWI hosts a WI Marquee at the two day Shrewsbury Flower Show in August. The team produces a themed schedule that we hope will encourage members from all parts of the county to enter SFWI competitions - in both group and individual categories - at the show.

Information and reminders are also put into County News and onto Facebook.
Team members are able to visit individual institutes to give encouragement, answer questions or help with any problems.
A “Showing Off” workshop is held each year – a chance to get practical advice and question WI judges before making final decisions about their show entries. This workshop is open to all members who plan to enter the WI section in Shrewsbury or any other show in the county.
In July we hold an information evening for members selected to be stewards in the WI marquee. We work hard to give members the chance to show to the public the very wide range of skills, interests and activities available to all members of the WI.
